Announcer: According to a national survey, 83% of Americans want immigration reduced.  No matter where we live in America.  Regardless of our political preference.  Or our religion.  Or our racial identity.  Or our
education level.  Across the board we all agree on less immigration.  Yet over one million immigrants are allowed in each year.   Five times our traditional average.

Apparently someone didn't get the message.

Ask the candidates if they think one million immigrants a year are too many.

Announcer:  If you think immigration levels in America are too high, you're not alone.  A 1996 Roper poll found that eighty-three percent of all Americans want immigration reduced.  No matter where in America we live.  Regardless of our political preference.  Or our religion.  Or our racial identity.  Or our education.  Across the board, we all agree on the need to reduce immigration.

Yet, the government now allows one million immigrants a year to enter the United States, five times our traditional average.  At that rate, we'll be a nation of four hundred million people in just fifty years, a forty-five percent increase!

We must let politicians know how the vast majority of Americans feel about mass immigration.  You can start by asking the candidates if they think one million immigrants a year are too many.  Because if they don't get the message soon, it won't matter what all of us think.
