Background: "No Changes, No Reductions" seems somewhat of a defensive ad, playing on Democrat turf with its promise to "make prescription drugs available and affordable for every Senior who needs them."  "Priority," an RNC ad launched the same day, reinforced the prescription drugs part of this ad.  While the Bush-Cheney ad is positive, the RNC ad included  a jab at Gore, accusing him of supporting "a big government plan that lets Washington bureaucrats interfere with what your doctors prescribe."  The DNC weighed with its own ad on the subject.  "Siding," also unveiled August 28, rejected the Bush ad's claim that, "We will make prescription drugs available and affordable for every Senior who needs them."  The DNC ad stated, "George Bush's approach leaves millions of seniors with no prescription drug coverage.  None."
