Al Gore is pro-choice; he's stood up against the right-wing to protect a woman's right to choose. 

Endorsed by Senator Patty Murray and endorsed by NARAL, the leading
pro-choice group as quote, "the best choice to defend a woman's right to
choose." 

Al Gore supports tough gun control.  Earlier this month, Jim Brady of the Brady Bill praised Al Gore for casting the deciding vote to close the gun show loophole. 

On health care, Al Gore proposes a step-by-step plan to get to universal
access for all Americans. The Gore plan starts with health care for all children and coverage for millions of Americans, and gives a prescription drug benefit under Medicare.
