Abuelita: "Ah…mi familia! Siempre se preocupan por mí ..especialmente por mi salud.  Yo les digo que estoy bien, pero deseo que las cosas sean diferentes.  Por eso me gusta el plan del Gobernador Bush."

Narrador: "Nuestros viejitos podrán obtener las medicinas prescritas, y ellos mismos pueden escoger el plan. Además, está cubierto el cuidado de la salud en situaciones catastróficas."

Translation
Family: "Thanks abuelita!

Grandmother: "Ah, mi familia! They always worry about me…especially my health.  I tell them everything is fine.  But I do wish things were different." 

Announcer: "Under Governor Bush’s plan, seniors get prescription drugs, and you get to choose the plan.  And, it covers catastrophic health care." 

Grandmother: "Just knowing that makes me feel better."

Abuelita: "¡Ah…mi familia! Siempre pendiente de mí….pero no quiero ser una carga para ellos…especialmente cuando se trata de mi salud. Yo les digo que estoy bien … pero …. deseo que las cosas sean diferentes."

Narrador: "Por ocho años, los demócratas han prometido reducir el costo de las medicinas.  Ahora, dicen que tienen un plan, pero nuestros viejitos tendrán que pagar una cuota de acceso de $600 dólares….y el gobierno elige su HMO."

Abuelita: "A mí me gusta el plan del gobernador Bush…porque yo puedo escoger y el plan de Bush cubre el cuidado de la salud en situaciones catastróficas.  Si yo me enfermo y las cuentas del hospital se van acumulando, mis hijos no tendrán que pagarlos. Sólo con saber ésto, me siento mejor."

Bush: "Es cosa de su futuro, porque el sueño americano es para todos."

Grandmother: Adios mijitos! Ah...mi familia. They’re always watching out for
me...but I don’t want to be a burden on them....especially when it comes to my health.  I tell them everything is fine....but I do wish things were different. 

Announcer: For eight years the Democrats promised to bring down prescription drug prices.  Now they say they have a plan....but seniors will have to pay a new $600 government access fee...and Washington picks your HMO. 

Grandmother: Me, I like Governor Bush’s plan...because I get to choose. And, Bush’s plan covers catastrophic health care.  So if I get sick and the hospital bills pile up....my children won’t have to pay them.  Just knowing that...makes me feel better.
