Speeches
"A Conservative View of American Foreign Policy" at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge, MA--April 13, 1998.  >

Bauer argued that "just as family policy has to be built on moral ideas, so does American foreign policy."  "America's prime purpose in the world should be not only our own national defense, but to advance and protect the cause of freedom," he stated.  In particular Bauer singled out China policy, declaring the leadership of both political parties "morally bankrupt."  Questions from the audience covered not only China and foreign policy but also Bauer's views toward gays and lesbians.
