Inaugural Parade

The Eagle Float has a wingspan of approximately 18 feet and a height of 16 feet. Fifty-seven men from Long Beach, Calif. carried the 82 x 47-foot Super Flag.
Many demonstrators lined the route, some waving signs, some chanting and some even booing as various units passed by.
It was a miserable day for a parade, cold and wet.  The parade also got off to a late start; according to one story the parade does not begin until the former president departs from Andrews.  Nonetheless, participants from all over the country gave it their best...
