Format: Introduction by moderator Dennis Ryerson.  Opening statements. Moderator Dennis Ryerson asks questions selected from more than 200 questions e-mailed, faxed and mailed to the newspaper by Iowa residents.  Community college students pose a couple of questions.  Candidates question each other.  Closing statements.

Broadcast: Televised live on Iowa Public Television, CNN, C-SPAN and Fox News.
