Coverage
This was the first forum between the two Democratic candidates and it drew major media attention; at least 365 reporters covered the event.  The headlines in the next day's papers reflected the fact that the format was designed to foster a conversation between the candidates and audience rather than a head-to-head debate:

"Democrats Echo Themes in Face-Off" (Washington Post)

"Gore again chides Clinton for affair during N.H. debate" (Washington Times)

"Gore spars with Bradley on care plan" (Boston Globe)

"Gore, Bradley Go Shoulder to Shoulder at Town Meeting" (Los Angeles Times)

"Gore, Bradley tangle gently" (Union Leader--Manchester, NH)

"Similar Visions, Similar Themes" (Valley News--Lebanon, NH--the local paper)
