Mar. 7 New York primary (101) Bush.  Voting was for three delegates in each of New York's 31 congressional districts, with the top three vote-getters in each district winning.  Bush, Forbes and McCain fielded full slates of three delegates in all districts, while Keyes had full delegate slates in 20, and partial or no lists in the remaining 11.  Of the 93 delegates selected in this manner, 69 of the Bush delegates and 24 of the McCain delegates finished in top-three positions.  Aggregating the district votes for delegates statewide produces a total of 2,161,518; dividing this by three, one can estimate that roughly 720,000 people voted in the primary -- 368,000 for Bush, 313,000 for McCain, and 24,000 for Keyes.
