| Dan Quayle has launched his campaign, declaring, "The battle for our families and our future begins today." People return to their businesses, students head back to the classrooms, and reporters file their stories. The Quayles stayed in Huntington the rest of the day and overnight. Early the next morning, Quayle stopped in at Nick's Kitchen for some breakfast and a broadcast of the "Today" show with Matt Lauer. Then it was on to the announcement tour. |
