Delegates watch credentials committee discussions; there was some controversy over New Jersey's delegation. This woman delegate is circulating a resolution.
One of the most important tasks accomplished at the convention was to approve the party's process for selecting its presidential nominee in the year 2000. Lenora Fulani of New York's Independence Party has brought minority constituencies into the Reform Party and is the party's education team leader.  A controversial figure, she ran for president in 1988 and 1992, and says her goal is "to build the independent movement."
Reform Party chairman Russ Verney shares a laugh with Jesse Ventura, the party's candidate for governor of Minnesota.
