Miscellaneous Notes Miscellaneous Notes
Victory 2000 Political Director Craig Schoenfeld stated that he saw "more participation from our Republican base than I have ever seen."  Indeed, an addition of less than two votes per precinct would have put Iowa's Electors in the Republican column for the first time since Reagan won in 1984.  Gore-Lieberman state director Jeff Link lauded the post-convention river boat tour: "The river tour was a home run for us...[it] really got us off on a good footing."
