Current Democratic Congressman representing Ohio's 17th district since election in 1984 (defeated an incumbent Republican). Serves on Transportation and Infrastructure (is ranking Democrat on the Subcommittee on Public Buildings & Economic Development) and Science Committees.

Activities Has addressed several state Reform Party conventions and, in November 1997, spoke at the national Reform Party's founding convention in Kansas City.
