        Though a relatively small state in size and population, Maryland has been correctly referred to as "America in Miniature."  Our counties on the Chesapeake Bay, our incorporated municipalities and our Appalachian counties offer wide diversity, and we are confident that your managerial ability and common sense values will appeal to independents and Democrats, as well as Republicans.

        We respectfully urge you to seize the torch of leadership and guide our country as President into the 21st century.  We would be proud to commit to you our fullest energy and support.

Maryland enjoys a natural geographic diversity and is located as neighbor to our national capitol and gateway to the south.  Our citizens have one of the highest per capita income levels of any state.  We are confident that your managerial ability, common sense values and inclusive method of problem solving, will appeal to Independents and Democrats as well as Republicans.

As Republican members of the Maryland Senate, we believe that it is critical that the Republican Party regain the White House.  We strongly urge you to run for our nation's highest office.
