Keyes' booth in the exhibit hall.

Alan Keyes began his speech by emphatically stating, "Bill Clinton is a liar." He said the evidence of Clinton's wrongdoing is clear, and he called for Clinton's removal from office. On the subject of forgiveness, Keyes noted that in the Bible, God forgave David, but that David suffered severely for his sin. Keyes then turned to abortion. "The partial-birth abortion vote today--the vote of the Senate not to override his veto--is a sordid scandal as great as the scandal in the White House," he stated. Toward the close, Keyes challenged the audience to "...work for leaders who stand for principle, and vote for leaders who stand for principle." "No more excuses. No more expediency. No more calculation," he declared.
